We never compromise on quality, yet due to our extended operational hours, we can achieve this amazing quality in very fast time frames. In fact we offer the following turnaround times:

Express – Same or Next Day (additional fees apply)

Priority – 3 working days (additional fees apply)

Regular – 5 working days

How should I send my files?

Our order form has an instant upload feature, but for larger files (over 50mb) we recommend you send us a direct dropbox download link (there is a field in form for your link). Dropbox is free here.

If there are any problems in the order form you can always call us on (02) 8540 3459 or email us the files directly to [email protected]

If you have any further problems give us a call anytime (don’t be shy, you’d be surprised how late we work until).

What format should my files be in?

In Photoshop follow these steps:

For Professionals:

Tiff’s or High Quality JPEGS.

8-bit with LZW compression.

Adobe RGB colour profile.

Flattened (no layers).

For everyone else (follow these steps):

  1. Flatten your image by going to Layer > Flatten Image
  2. For Colour Images: Go to Edit > Convert To Profile > and select Adobe RGB (1998)
  3. For Black & White images: Go to Image > Mode > Greyscale and select ‘Discard’ Colour Information. If this is not done your images may be printed with a colour cast.
  4. Go to Image > Mode > 8-bits
  5. Go to File > Save as TIFF (select LZW compression in dialogue box for compression options.)
  6. Put files in ONE zipped folder and upload via our large file transfer service at checkout.
What other services do you offer?

We primarily produce Giclée Prints, which are archival aqueous pigment prints. As experts in photoshop and Colour Management we also provide support for file processing, image optimization and specialty enhancements.

We also offer free courses, film scanning, limited editions and artwork reproductions (using enhanced polarised lights).

We provide advice and recommendations for framing, galleries, and various arts resources. If you have a large important project you can always request a private session by calling us.

How long do your prints last?

Giclée prints are the highest possible Archival standards for digital printing. Prints are rated anywhere from 100-200 years fade resistance. For best results, we recommend all prints are kept away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity, or environmental pollutants and ideally prints should be framed for maximum longevity. The Cotton Rag papers used for Giclée printing receive a 5 out of 5 rating from The Nature Conservancy for their eco-friendliness.

In comparison, C-TYPE Prints (found at most photolabs) are produced using lightjet technology. These are highly vulnerable to light and environmental changes. They can fade in as little as 5 years. They receive a 0 out of 5 rating from The Nature Conservancy for their use of petrochemicals in the paper and the significant chemical waste they produce.

What ink and paper do you use?

We are one of the few print centres that strictly uses Genuine Inks only made under the strictest standard. All of our Papers are manufactured to the highest standards by experts in Italy (for our Cotton Rag Papers) or Germany (for our Photo Papers).

For those who wish to pickup prints in person, and not have them posted, we are located in Wynyard. Please call ahead prior to pickup.
